BETTY BOYINK
Okay, Betty Boyink is officially my favorite quilt designer. Mom didn't have any of her books. I picked up her book on fan quilts on a whim at a used book dealer and was blown away by it, so I researched her and found she had done even more books - and one of them was for trees and leaves!!! This happens to be one of my favorite motifs to use for just about anything. So I tracked down a copy and ordered it. Betty Boyink ROCKS!!! If someone were going to write a quilting book just for me, this is it. It has 52 patterns on my favorite motif. It has quilting designs, and applique leaves to use. It shows lots of color samples of quilts she's done with these motifs along with smaller projects. Have I mentioned how much Betty Boyink ROCKS?!!! So you know what I'll be doing - figuring out how to budget buying another one every month until I have ALL her books...
