SUMMARY: This digest was originally subscribed to by my grandmother, Mary Griffin, but was taken over by my mother when my grandmother became too ill to sew any more. You get an interesting potpourri of patterns in each issue, but some of them require special fabrics(mostly printed panels) to complete. This trend got a little worse as the years went by. If the pattern can't be completed without the fabric, I've marked it as "preprinted fabric needed" so that if you think "Oh! That sounds interesting!" - you'll know you don't have a hope in Hutchinson of ever finding the fabric for that project, so just move along. I don't have a complete run of this digest, but I have most of the early issues from one of the few boxes of magazines I was able to rescue from my mom's storage units. I'll fill in more as I find them (or someone kindly donates them). If you subscribed to this magazine and know when it ceased publication, I'd love to hear from you so I'll know when to stop looking.

One thing of note- Theresa/Teresa Reilly and Virginia Jansen/Jensen have their names spelled two different ways - many times! - so I have no idea which is the correct spelling. I am personally bad with names, so when someone else does it, it jumps out at me. If someone who knows either designer would kindly set me straight, I'll correct whichever one is wrong!

HOW TO MAKE THIS MAGAZINE CATALOG SEARCHABLE:
METHOD ONE(downside is it takes some effort and time):
1. Open a blank page in your favorite word processing program.
2. Right click and "SELECT ALL"
3. Right click and "COPY"
4. "PASTE" or CTRL"V" what you copied into the blank page(it could take a while depending on the size of the page)
5. Use the search function as you normally would. Try to stick to only one word, since authors will sometimes use their middle initial, then not, change names, etc.
6. Trash the blank page when you're done.

METHOD TWO(downside is you have to wade through a lot of HTML code to read the entries):
1. Right click and "VIEW SOURCE". This will bring up a second window that will give you a behind-the-stage look at my coding along with the entries. There is a search function on source pages. Use it as you would the search function for a word processor(see METHOD 1). Close the Source page when you're done.
