SUMMARY- This isn't a pattern book, but rather a gallery to display all the creative techniques that can be used to create different effects in the same tradition of Carolyn Vosburg Hall's and Donna Meilach's early books. It is definitely a child of the experimental '60's, and a lot of fun to read and study the pictures. I would recommend this book.
Jean Ray Laury was a very talented and driven designer who was a leader in the movement to make people see fiber crafts as art - particularly in quilting. She was very influental and inspired many to consider themselves artists. I have a page set up for all of her books in the quilting bibliography: JEAN RAY LAURY
