SUMMARY- This book is entirely in Korean except for the titles of books in photos, the words "Part" and "How to make, p.", and I could not find an author's name anywhere online. Hopefully, someone with knowledge of the Korean language will take pity on me and fill me in. Page 150 does have a Korean/English conversion table for common tatting terms - these are always a gold mine, letting you know what techniques are likely employed by the designer, as well as letting the determined double check instructions to see if they are reading the diagrams correctly - and this designer does provide good diagrams. The diagrams are in black and red so that you can easily distinguish your shuttle thread from your ball thread. It's mainly traditional elements taking advantage of color thread to make the designs pop, but there are also some more modern style choices that drew my attention and made me smile with pleasure. I was especially gleeful to run across a monogram set in Korean - my first in a foreign language. Surely someone has done a Cyrillic monogram set, but I have yet to see it. Photography is a little busy - I like clean shots so I can see the stitches, while the sample pieces were posed to show off their effect. But you get color throughout and a nice variety of patterns that are both appealing and run the gamut of tatting experience from novice to journeyman.

I finally found this designer's name on Craftree.com - Thank you! So I've filled in the missing bib info and moved it to where it belongs now.
