SUMMARY- Photos aren't very large but done in color to show off the color schemes of each ornament. You get a diagram, and written(not symbolic) notation with instructions for each ornament. The diagrams seem pretty easy to read. The tatting is wrapped around round glass ornaments. The designer gives you an e-mail address you can contact her by in case you need help with one of her patterns. I liked the first book, and was finally able to spring for the second - glad I did. I enjoy doing tree ornaments - have given away a couple of hundred in my teens and in the last five years or so when I took tatting back up. I really oughtta keep some for myself at some point. But I'm the only tatter in my family, so usually what I make gets given to them in exchange for all the lovely things they sew or crochet for me...
