SUMMARY- Her instructions are well broken down and easy to read. Some Diagrams. I think you can guess the theme of this book from the cover and Table of Contents! You always get a lot of bang for your buck with Karey's booklets. She says done in size 80 thread, that her girls will fit on a 2 1/2" wide block, size 10 can fit an 8" block. You also get suggestions for embroidering the backgrounds of your blocks. These make a very cute and original Sunbonnet Sue quilt.
Karey's clever designs are always fun. (Karey's patterns run the gamut of difficulty and are engaging enough to encourage less experienced tatters to try the more difficult patterns(at least she did this for me!) Everyone knows by now I'm a big fan of Karey's, and not only have completed a catalog of all the issues of Tatting Times for the Bibliography Project, but with Karey's blessing, converted the first 20 years of Tatting Times to pdf format so she can sell them to those of us who came rather late to the party and missed out, with all proceeds going to a very worthy charity!

Ms. Solomon has a website where you can buy books, supplies and subscribe to "Tatting Times," her quarterly newsletter: Graceful Arts Fiber Studio
