SUMMARY- Her instructions are well broken down and easy to read. Some Diagrams. There is a solid variety of patterns in this one, with denser than usual tatting and thicker threads for absorbancy. I particularly loved the Best Friends Sampler and the Butterfly Octagon - ooh! and the African Violet. Karey's patterns run the gamut of difficulty and are engaging enough to encourage less experienced tatters to try the more difficult patterns(at least she did this for me!) Everyone knows by now I'm a big fan of Karey's, and not only have completed a catalog of all the issues of Tatting Times for the Bibliography Project, but with Karey's blessing, converted the first 20 years of Tatting Times to pdf format so she can sell them to those of us who came rather late to the party and missed out, with all proceeds going to a very worthy charity!
