SUMMARY- "Elgin Maid Perle Crochet" cotton thread is what the title is referring to. The patterns are all for crochet. I'm not a big fan of this designer's work, but keep running across booklets from this run as part of lots that I bought for other old treasures. Virginia Snow did do a few tatting books as part of this line, and I've been adding the other titles I run across just so that I can say there are no token tatting patterns in this one.
