SUMMARY- The patterns are given in symbolic notation with instructions in English. Instructions are well broken down and easy to follow. There are a LOT of patterns in this book. The majority are snowflakes, and there are a few icedrops. I was very impressed with her creative and festive photo frames near the end of the book(birthday cake, ice cream cone, ice cream sundae, cupcake). They're so cute! A $40 book has to have quite a bit of bang for me not to be grumpy - and I'm not the least bit grumpy over this one. I think she delivered great value, and I'm very happy that she's started putting her work into hardcopy editions. I find her patterns engaging and consider this a fun addition to my pattern library.
