SUMMARY- Georgia Seitz, one of the great champions of tatting, provided a comb-bound black-and-white compilation of the Riego tatting books, and kept it available for over a decade. This compilation came to me through a retired tatter who was looking for an appreciative home for a significant library of tatting books. I am so grateful for her contributions to the bibliography project, and for the support this project has received from so many unexpected sources. Thank you all. I could not have compiled so extensive a catalog so quickly without that help.
The patterns are simple and somewhat primitive, but distinctly modern tatting, with modern joins holding the disparate rings together. There is a remarkably clear description for making the modern chain on page 30. There is a description of what Mdlle Riego calls knotting on page 29 and 30 that looks and sounds a lot like cluny leaves to me.
