SUMMARY- She uses the older written notation but has diagrams to back them up. Instructions are really well broken down and easy to read. She employs color to great effect here. The black-and-white photos show only the large details - not good enough to see the stitches, but she also provides full-page full-color photos of all the projects all on black backgrounds to really make the designs pop. I came to these three books late, so have had a difficult time finding any of them, though I've had her book of collage motifs for decades. Over-all, I'm pleased to add this to my collection.
