SUMMARY- A nice worktext with lots of illustration for making Armenian lace. Maybe not a definitive guide, but useful still. I believe all the Priscilla books are competently done and worth pursuing for more than just their historical context. They impart practical information in a way that is still usable a hundred years later - not a small feat.
Again, there was a full-page ad for "The Modern Priscilla" on the back cover. I've been slowly working on a collection of TMP, but they tend to be a little pricey. Reproduction copies of the Priscilla tatting booklets can be had fairly reasonably on e-bay.
