SUMMARY- As you can see from the ToC I put together, there is a huge number of women's purses/bags and jewelry. The black and white photos hurts this book a great deal, as much is lost without the color and shine of the beadwork, but I certainly recommend it for anyone looking for patterns from this time period. Using beads in conjunction with crochet, knitting, weaving and embroidery gives you a lot of options to choose from, and the section on making your own beads is an excellent resource to understanding the common materials used to make one's own beads of the time. Steel beads was the winner for favorite flavor of commercially available for the times.
