SUMMARY- Patterns are diagrammed, and the diagrams are color-coded to aid readability. In this one you also get well broken down written instructions in symbolic notation. Most of the snowflakes are between 2-3" in size 20 thread, with a handful smaller and larger than this median range. This is a fantastic collection with lots of variety! I was very pleased to add this book to my library.
When I buy a PDF, I print it out on good paper, laminate the cover and back page, and comb bind them so I've got a physical copy to include in the library, and don't have to worry about losing track of the digital copy(or its degrading or becoming unreadable with time). I worry about designer's work that is only published in a digital format. We can access patterns printed a couple hundred years ago, but can't access digital files that are only a couple of decades old. I don't want my collection to be the only surviving archive of these lovely designs.

Robin made her book POD(Print On Demand) at Amazon in both hardcover and softcover in 2021. If you haven't already put out the money for the PDF, I do recommend buying a hardcopy of it for your library.
