SUMMARY- This is an abridged republication of Tatting, Book no. 13 published by Anne Orr Studios, and Star Book of Tatting Designs, Book no. 2 published by the American Thread Company. Both original books are in my collection. Both are excellent. There are good reasons why Anne Orr's work has remained sought after for more than 70 years after her death. You can see from her bib page that she was quite diverse in the disciplines she had mastery of, and from 1914 to 1945, published nearly 100 books! If you haven't come across any of her books before. This and the other Dover collection of her tatting designs are good places to start. It's a large collection for a reasonable cost.
