SUMMARY- Modern symbolic notation is used and the pattern instructions are well broken down and easy to read. No diagrams, but I've never used diagrams so I don't miss them. Your mileage may vary, of course. Her photography is excellent and gives you very clear pictures of each finished project. The face cloth edging has a bit of a celtic twist to it despite its simplicity and looks great. Her Button Flower Heart employs 3 colors, and is a very striking design. There's a great pictorial tutorial in the back for making split rings on a needle. I was pleased to have run across this book. I will keep an eye out for any more tatting books she may choose to put forth.
