SUMMARY- This book goes around the whole learning the double stitch and starts with all the secondary skills you'll need to know, like using the Weaver's Knot to add a new thread to the work. She gives a great illustration for a Lark's Head Picot Join, and lots of great advice. Black-and-white photography is used throughout, and photos are often a little fuzzy - still a useful book to supplement your basics. I consider myself a very well practiced journeyman tatter, and I learned some interesting tidbits from this book I hadn't run across before. I am happy to have added it to my shelves.
