SUMMARY- Tatting gets the shortest amount of pages dedicated to it of all the disciplines represented. They tell you frankly up front to learn tatting, it is advisable to learn the basic stitch from a tutor rather than a book. Given that, they still give basic instruction and illustrations. You get 2 edgings(Wild Rose, Star Flower), 10" doily, square, Daisy doily, and a padded tatting motif(flower). There are no diagrams. You get a black-and-white photo of each sample - some you can see detail, some not. If you have a wider interest in needlework disciplines, this is an interesting read. I wouldn't pick it up for just the tatting chapter.
