SUMMARY- I paid a lot more for this book than I would ordinarily for any tatting book, and not as much as I should have. When you can find this one, it typically goes for $170 or more(as of 2014). There are excellent reasons for this. She was a genius at design. Pick up a copy of her easier to find "Tatting With Visual Patterns" and you'll understand immediately what I'm talking about. This book uses an older notation("ds" instead of a number, "p" instead of "-") but isn't hard to follow. The patterns in this book look simpler and there are fewer of them than her other books, but there are still some great gems here. I enjoy her writing style and find her designs inspiring. There is never anything dull about Mary Konior's work. I feel fortunate to have found a copy of this book. (Thank you, Stephanie!)
Judith Connors wrote a small biographic piece for Craftree.
