SUMMARY- The jewelry pieces are lush with beading ala Nina Libin. The patterns that I would have liked to make the most aren't given - the carousel, the vest, and the Peacock centerpiece. The photography is what we've come to expect from tatting books coming from Japan - nothing short of breathtaking. You get good diagrams and written instructions in symbolic notation, so this book is user friendly. It was very pricey at the time I bought this - and I shopped around looking for a better deal than $50. My only disappointment was not getting the instructions to make all the items showcased. There may have been explanation somewhere in the book, but it is written mostly in Japanese, so I don't know what it is.
