SUMMARY- There is an introduction from Pamela Nottingham for Yusai Fukuyama, and discusses his talent for bobbin lace and tambour work. Tatting was something he took up after a long illness and even longer convalescence. His work is very classic in look and doesn't need anything but basic techniques. While the written instructions are in Japanese, there are also diagrams for each pattern - and they need no translation. This is a solid book of classic designs. I was happy he had the Table of Contents in both Japanese and English.
