SUMMARY- I haven't included the Table of Contents because they are in Japanese. Photography is lush and the samples presented are quite appealing. The work is very traditional. Instructions are in Japanese, but there are diagrams for all the patterns, and diagrams can be read by anyone! The first third of the book are picture tutorials on the basics slowly building with new simple projects to practice at each step and building in complexity. The patterns given: Heart Border for Flower doily(using a dimpled chain), 3 simple but very elegant necklace designs, (2)Doilies, 3D Boutenir, (4)Motifs, Border for Octagonal Linen Doily, Heart Applique, Bookmark, and 2 edgings. She sticks with classic design that is nevertheless engaging and appealing.
