SUMMARY- The book is in Japanese except for numbers. There is a cute little tatted doll dress/3D Ornament w/ a solid tatted bodice - not a technique I see a lot of, so I've got to wonder if the designer got inspired by the reprinting of Dora Young's book? It's hard to see the sample on the cover of this pattern, but it's there. For other patterns you get heart/club/diamond/spade card motifs, a square tiling motif, clover earring and necklace set(bracelet is shown on cover ringing the doll dress ornament), Paris' Eiffel Tower motif, floral earring and collar set, Sweet Pea brooch(3D), solid tatting basket pendant, square motif for pincushion, snowflake for ornament or jewelry, round motif for pincushion cover or tiled for square mat, ribbon-threaded bracelet, round motif, 3D Flower for barrette and earrings, Sunflower brooch, dangling leaves earrings, large round and small square tiling motifs for table runner, a draped motif to decorate a round glass cheese tray cover, and tiny lampshades for faery/Christmas light strings!
You get diagrams, but there are quite a few patterns here with more advanced techniques that will be difficult for novices to learn in a foreign language. It has some lovely stuff, but you'll need be experienced or very very stubborn to follow some of the patterns. I'm still glad I was able to pick this one up!
