SUMMARY- This may be the first book Barbara Foster published on Needle Tatting. You got clear black-and-white photos(for which she thanked her husband) and detailed instructions for making a ring on a needle. Making a chain comes in the second companion book. She refines these instructions in later editions, but it's nice to see where it all started! In the back of the book is a primitive catalog of Handy Hands' offerings at the time(there were three Tatsy kits in the catalog, but you weren't told which ones!) and an order form. You've come a long way, Barbara!
