SUMMARY- I ordered this book very late, but Nancy Tracy persevered and got me a copy - I'm so glad she did. I'm always curious about what is being done with tatting around the world, and with the development of diagrams and symbolic notation, it has become easy for books in foreign languages to find appeal with the international audience. This is a great example. While she doesn't provide written instructions, her diagrams and crisp photography give access to tatters who don't know the language - and there are some really appealing designs here. Her photo tutorials are excellent, with one in particular that stood out for me because I'd never seen the technique before. She demonstrates how to add beads to a row of split rings after the rings have been formed that looks easy enough and has a neat appearance. You get patterns for baby shoes(shown on cover), Christmas ornaments((3)balls and (4)snowflakes), a lot of striking jewelry designs, crown motif, Violets(cover), small basket, Coaster, Bow, Wrist Gloves(wedding) and Hair Piece, and a ribbon-laced bookmark.
