SUMMARY- Here's another great book for someone new to tatting to use. The designs are very effective, and still doable by a novice who knows just the basics. A couple of the photos are a bit fuzzy - but you get multiple photos of each project. Instructions are in written notation, and in large font so that they are easy to read. She printed this book on white paper, which helps a lot for the readability. I found her books on Etsy, where she has a shop under the nom de plume "Lacemakermom." I highly recommend her books. I've been really happy with every book I've bought from her - and I buy them all. She is wonderful to deal with, and answers communications promptly. The only downside is she doesn't diagram or use symbolic notation, so nonEnglish speakers may have a harder time parsing the instructions. I still think the patterns are easy enough anyone can follow along. I highly recommend Mrs. Bierwirth's book.
