SUMMARY- When you buy the book, buy all the wing beads you think you're ever going to need while you're at it - you have to have them for these patterns, and there's no guarentee you will find something similar in the future when you need them. So for those of you who ignore me, or get the book second-hand sans beads, the beads are a scant 1" wide and 1/4" tall consisting of a 1/8" barrel with the two wings attached to the sides. The angels are a good size for earrings, pendants and brooches. Some advanced techniques are used in many of the designs, but you also get visual tutorials that will help you. I was especially excited to see Loop Tatted Rings explained - my favorite new technique of a couple of years ago. You can throw a ring on the far end of a bugle bead pretty quickly without taking your thread off the shuttle. This was a great find and I'm happy I was able to acquire it for my tatting library!
