SUMMARY- You get great photos large enough to see details, and simple enough patterns for beginners to get the hang of needle tatting. She does not give diagrams. Her patterns are well broken down though, and in large enough type even I can read them without squinting. She uses symbolic notation in this one. She needle tats with yarn to get the size needed to make clothing and bag articles without taking a year to make them. I am also partial to theme books, so she gets a smile from me there too. Finding patterns for clothing made of tatting is relatively rare. I'm really happy to have added Ms. Yoshikawa's second book to my tatting library. A Book a year is a pretty breakneck pace - the only person I know to pull this off and make it look easy is Karey Solomon. So I'm very curious whether Ms. Yoshikawa is going to keep up this pace...
ps- she gives you contact information in case you have questions, a sign of classiness and confidence I always approve.
