SUMMARY- Ruby Hinson was a prolific designer and churned out an amazing inventory of patterns for all the Tower Press publications. I'm not sure what criteria Tower Press used to organize and reprint her patterns in the Blue Ribbon series - it looks like random assortments to me, but if you're an avid quilter, I would find these books interesting.
All of Tower Press' publications were printed on extremely cheap newsprint paper, so pictures of samples are likely dark and hard to see detail. Still worth the price of admission. What Tower Press lacked in print quality, they more than made up for in providing creative, beautiful designs and projects.
