SUMMARY- This is a compilation of a few of Mrs. Hamilton's original patterns that ran in "Popular Needlework" and "Stitch'n Sew"through the last half of the 1960's. I recognize the patterns. I've long been a fan of Mrs. Hamilton's design work, so this compilation came as a pleasant surprise. I just wish they'd bothered to publish their "Blue Ribbon" patterns on better paper. They didn't pick Mrs. Hamilton's best work, either - another puzzle. Perhaps "Blue Ribbon" meant something different to Tower Press. I'd give this compilation a miss and just find the back issues of the magazines. You'll have more of her patterns that way, as well as the articles she wrote to accompany them.
