SUMMARY- This is a solid collection of old standards. The most interesting one for me was the Log Cabin - the contributor, Elisha Penniman, included 16 variants in laying out the blocks that amply demonstrates how powerfully diverse this simple pattern can be...

All of Tower Press' publications were printed on extremely cheap newsprint paper, so pictures of samples are likely dark and hard to see detail. Still worth the price of admission. What Tower Press lacked in print quality, they more than made up for in providing creative, beautiful designs and projects.
