SUMMARY- I am able to document this booklet thanks to Carolyn Kotlas. Her copy is coverless, so I can't provide a cover scan - I've looked everywhere for another copy and have come up empty handed for once. I had no idea Richardson's book series went this high. There are some really lovely traditional patterns in this booklet - I was particularly jazzed to see two different tatted edgings with fringe incorporated into the design. Fringing is rare in tatting for some reason. I now have a new quest to fill in more information on this series(there being a lot of numbers between fourteen and twenty-four).
The tatting patterns incorporated other disciplines in several instances - mostly crochet - but there is some cluny and that lovely coronation braid that used to be so popular. I like that they really pushed the boundaries of what tatting could do at the time. I just wish they had supplied the name of the designer...
