SUMMARY- She uses the older written notation, but has diagrams to back them up. Instructions are really well broken down and easy to read. The black-and-white photos are pretty grainy and show only the large details - not good enough to see the stitches, but she also provides full-page full-color photos of all the projects all on black backgrounds to really make the designs pop. I came to these three books late, so have had a remarkably difficult time finding any of them. This one was loaned to me through the IOLI Lending Library service. This is the only one of her books I kind of felt "Meh" about. All the patterns are pretty generic - no themes, not even a token butterfly. Your mileage, of course, may vary.
