SUMMARY- She uses the older written notation but has diagrams to back them up. Patterns are fairly traditional fair well executed. She employs color to great effect here. The black-and-white photos show only the large details - not good enough to see the stitches, but she also provides full-page full-color photos of all the projects all on black backgrounds to really make the designs pop. I came to these three books late, so have had a difficult time finding any of them, though I've had her book of collage motifs for decades. Over-all, I'm pleased to add this to my collection.
