SUMMARY- Ms. Rogers uses an older written notation instead of the symbol notation, but gives diagrams for all her patterns in this book. It's a spiralbound book disguised as a hardcover - a very neat bit of engineering so that the book will lay perfectly flat while you are working and still looks nice on the shelf. I was kind of impressed with that small attention to detail. Where the table of contents says "Filigree" there are actually a variety of patterns given under that heading - same for the other project headings. She takes a basic pattern and shows how it can be elaborated on to make something sophisticated and beautiful. Her use of color really makes the designs pop. This is a great find.
