SUMMARY- This isn't a pattern book! It was gifted to me by a friend I made during the pandemic. We've been exchanging emails and craft stuff ever since. This book is a really charming fable that came with a clear glass stone with a tatted butterfly attached to it - a tatting stone. I'm not going to spoil the story for anyone who lucks into a copy of this tale of woe and hope. Aesops and the Brothers Grimm couldn't have done a better job. I'm so delighted to have this! It makes me smile now just to see the cover and remember the story within - well worth your while to track down if you are a tatter and love stories like I do. I happen to collect fables - my friend did not know this when she sent it to me on a whim. I didn't have any that were tatting-centric until now. Thank you for the inspiration, Mary Anna, and thank you, my friend Patricia, for seeing this in your stash and thinking of me. I will cherish it and make sure it is preserved with the tatting bibliography for future generations to read and enjoy!
