SUMMARY- I'm always on the lookout for designers who like to push the envelope of what is possible in a craft, so I was eager to lay mitts on this one, and I'm so happy with it! You get a lot of diagrammed patterns suitable for playing with copper wire, and plenty of good advice from someone who has already made most of the common mistakes herself and can advise how to avoid them. There's a lot of time between her two books - I really hope a third will come sooner, as I've enjoyed both of Ms. Regnier's offerings.
EXTRA NOTES: Doretha Albee mentioned in the Sept. 1994 issue of her newsletter "Tatting Knots & Notes" that Carolyn is the designer who had her finger tattooed so she could make perfect picots without a gauge. I had heard rumors that some tatters did this, but this is the first instance someone actually mentioned a name, and I thought it was interesting enough to pass on to you...
