SUMMARY- I wouldn't give someone mignonette as a beginner's project, but otherwise, this booklet has a nice assortment of patterns to practice with, as well as a tutorial with lots of photo illustrations. Instructions are in the old familiar written notation(if you are conversant with older pattern notation from Coats, American Thread, and the other thread mills).
I came across a different cover for this one, and bought it to see if they changed up the patterns as they sometimes do. Turns out patterns are identical in both versions, if slightly rearranged. The lesson in the one with the Aero shuttle on the cover is illustrated rather than use photographs. You can otherwise be confident you have the same book.
