SUMMARY- The entire book is in Cyrillic. The first half of the book is entirely I-cord Lace(looks very similar to Battenberg Lace) and the second half is tatting often mixed with crochet. There are some interesting snowflakes, collars, edging, motifs, and a couple of doilies(combined with crochet). The tatting is very much a secondary discipline for Ms. Pivtorak - her main focus is the I-cord Lace. It is still a lovely book to leaf through. The photos are fantastic black-and-white. I can't tell you much about the instructions - again, Cyrillic. The tatting patterns have rudimentary diagrams and those don't need translating. I have the name of the book and the author only because the lovely lady who sold me the book took pity on me and translated them for me when I asked(Thank you, Irene!) This is the third book I've come across from this part of the world and all three are very different from each other. I'm always curious what directions other countries take this discipline. This was an interesting find.
