SUMMARY- This is one of my favorite tatting books - it has some of the loveliest medallions and edgings I've ever seen - and there are tons of them! It is well worth the trouble to hunt down a copy for your pattern library - but make sure and get the original 1935 edition. It has a reprint of a beautiful centerpiece and three doily set that were designed by Ms. Orr, but originally published by The American Thread Company in "Book of Tatting Designs No. 2". Patterns are in very small print and hard to read(I copy them out, or blow them up on a copier). You get a good black-and-white photo of each finished project.
