SUMMARY- There are some really lovely patterns in this collection - mostly for filet crochet/cross-stitch work. The most exciting thing in this book is the introduction of reverse stitch - what we now call Split Ring - in the tatting section. Anne Orr copyrighted the technique, and it immediately dropped into obscurity until Mary Sue Kuhn resurrected the technique with her "Joy of Split-Ring Tatting," demonstrating graphically how important it was to the discipline.
