SUMMARY- This kit came with instructions for 3 different snowflakes, ribbon for bows, a Tradition Today shuttle, and enough heavy thread(size 10) to make up three(3) of each. The Tradition Today shuttle is black lacquered wood with one rounded end and the other that comes to more of a point. This one did not have the LoLo decal on it that is shown in the picture to the left. The first two pages of the instructions are a basic tatting lesson with illustrations. The third(and last) page gave you the instructions for tatting the snowflakes. These snowflakes were slight variations of an earlier kit. Instructions are all one big block for each piece, broken down only by Rounds. The set is very traditional and simple. Ms. Moyer used traditional written notation(not symbolic, no diagrams). This would be a fun kit for someone who has a grasp of the basics. This is now vintage, of course - 36 years old as of this writing - but I see the LoLo kits show up on ebay several times a year still. I love kits, and was happy to run across this one.
