SUMMARY- You get clear symbol notation that is well broken down and easy to read, a diagram, and a black-and-white photo with the instructions for reference. I really don't think you can get better than that! The only downside to this book is that it is no longer available, much to my annoyance. This is a perfect book to hand to a new tatter. It has a great variety of patterns, and having both types of instructions and the sample photo all together makes this a great learning book. But I don't put it on my suggested list because it is impossible to find any more. You should at least check out Mr. Myers' website - it's a hoot. His day job is as a graphic designer and his website showcases what happens when a talented artist gets to indulge his talents and humor.
