SUMMARY- Run, don't walk, to your closest tatting dealer website - both Tatting Corner and Handy Hands have this in stock. If you have long been an admirer of Mr. Lyon's work, at ~$60 you can have it all, Plus his famous rules of tatting, Plus a tutorial for Inkscape to help get you started drafting your own patterns professionally. His work has humor, challenges and amazing beauty. Patterns are diagrammed and well broken down in symbolic notation so everyone can play. For a capstone on a career, this is an inspiring offering. I had been worried that his work would disappear, except as pdfs no one will be able to open in a few short decades as technology inevitably moves on. We are saved from this by this great hardcover. I know it feels pricey, but it's really a steal. You'll be sad later if you don't pick it up now.

I've reviewed two of his pdf-formatted books, one for his Celtic tatting designs, and the other for the famous Lagniappe doily(37 1/2"). The doily is also in this book, along with his other amazing doilies. Not all of the Celtic tatting designs from the pdf book are here, though.
