SUMMARY- These are 50 traditional edgings and insertions pulled from early 1900's tatting books that Ms. Klosterman collected and adapted for this book. She likes the classics. She uses a combination of written and symbolic notation that isn't hard to follow. The photos are black-and-white and very grainy, but adequate for the complexity of patterns she's given(they're all pretty straight forward). This is another one of those little gems that just showed up on e-bay that I bought on a whim. Production values were low but she put together a nice selection of simple traditional edgings that is useful and inexpensive. I was pleased to have run across this one.
