SUMMARY- There are 13 pages on Tatting(most of the book is crochet - knitting takes up 9 pages). Seven of those pages teach the basic ring and chain with black-and-white photos. Then you get a strip applique for table mats, another strip motif for making cushion covers, and a lovely motif for a tray cloth. The three patterns you get are very appealing and two of them are very different from the usual fare. I'd say skip this book if you already know how to tat - but if you can find it cheap, the patterns given might be worth your while.

Patterns are given in older notation(like in Workbasket) and no diagrams. Photos are so-so.
