Title: Tatting Lace
SUMMARY- I've been lusting after this particular book ever since I saw a friend's copy several years ago. I finally found a copy from a used book dealer in Japan(Thank you, Hitoshi!). It's full of the lush crisp color photography we've come to expect from the Japanese craft books, and there's more of Ms. Fujito's exquisite patterns. The Table of Contents is in Japanese, but the patterns included are: 3 large round doilies, a large oval doily, 2 smaller round doilies, three square mats used as pillow covers(there's an antimacassar and curtains in the background of this photo that are also tatted), two lovely deep collars, 2 gorgeous shawls, Star doily, place mat, 3 curved edgings that go around linen doilies, 4 beaded necklaces, and a simple motif and two insertions, 15 simple traditional edgings, and a cute small monogram set that would be appropriate for handkerchiefs and small articles. If you find a copy of this book, my recommendation is to snatch it up and consider yourself lucky. |
