SUMMARY- Photos are good enough to count stitches from, and you get a clear diagram and well broken down instructions in symbolic notation - I don't think you can do better than that. I like that the patterns are dated for when they were developed, and Randy put Gary's name on the book because he was involved in the developement of many of the patterns. There are several 6-pt motifs here that could be used as snowflakes, along with the two that are labeled "snowflakes". Many of the patterns would also make excellent bookmarks. You get several advanced techniques explained with good illustration - overall an excellent addition to their line of books.
