SUMMARY- This is a very nice basic kit that includes detailed illustrated instructions for using the slip'n slide method of tatting(one of the faster methods) and teaches how to make a ring, and join the rings. You get a basic tatted edging and braid. You are not taught how to chain, so there is only bare thread where chains would be on the two sample patterns. You get a post shuttle with a pick and a hank of size 5 pearl cotton floss. It was an inexpensive kit, and I think someone could learn the basic stitch from it.
