SUMMARY- You get 41 antique crochet lace patterns and 18 knitted lace patterns. Some of the patterns are quite elaborate. I believe this is the first book, 2nd edition, and not Book 2, of which I've located a copy and the patterns are very different. I have not found a first edition of the first book, however, so I have not been able to confirm this. There is an ad on the back of Book 2 that says Book 1 has 59 patterns, which coincides with the number of patterns here. I'll update this if I ever find the first edition.

FOLLOW UP(May 2021): I have acquired a first edition, although the cover is missing entirely from it, all the internal contents are exactly the same as the second edition.
